Lillian Stowe is an actor, writer, and vocalist based in New York City.

Born and raised in Hong Kong—along with four years in Nashville, Tennessee—Stowe is a 2023 graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts, earning their BFA in Drama with the New Studio on Broadway and NYU Florence’s Commedia Dell’Arte program.

“I’m an artist because I have a deep reverence for the human condition. My aim is to channel this reverence into my work, offering the fullness of my heart, mind, guts, and spirit.

Great art broadens the patterns in which we perceive and interact with our realities. Asking myself how I can ‘see better’ drives my artistry.

My work centers around how we make sense of the extremes life inevitably gives us, the fractures that develop in our psyches that can feel difficult to reconcile—whether it be our sense of home or place, our self-expression, how we face light and darkness, the list goes on. The goal is to embrace the grey area these extremes bring and transform them into an act of creativity and generosity.”
